It is hard to believe how different our lives look today compared to March of this year. We too feel the impact caused by the school closures and the state’s lockdown measures. As a Board, we stand committed, and in alignment with the Del Mar Union School District (DMUSD), to provide an extraordinary education for our students.

Helping to teach our children through remote learning has demonstrated to our community how incredibly valuable all our teachers are. We know that circumstances have changed for many families, but should you be in the position, please consider making an investment in DMSEF in May. Please know that every dollar counts to ensure a strong recovery for our students, and we are so grateful to your commitment to our teachers.

We are sharing STEAM+ and parent resources on our social media sites every day, so please follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Our amazing STEAM+ teachers are continuing our STEAM+ program by sending out a comprehensive STEAM+ curriculum each week to our students.  As we look to next year, our STEAM+ program, which teaches resiliency, creativity and keeps our kids active, will be more important than ever for our students.
