Volunteer

The Del Mar Schools Education Foundation (DMSEF) is a non-profit education foundation run by a Board of Directors.  These dedicated parent volunteers act as school representatives for each of the eight schools in the Del Mar Union School District (DMUSD). These parents communicate the need for contributions and manage fund-raising events and marketing efforts on their campus. As strong supporters of public schools, the DMSEF board members understand that a public education is free, but a great education is not.

If you would like to help in directly affecting the quality of your child’s education today, please contact the DMSEF office at [email protected] or 858-523-6007.

We thank you in advance for taking a proactive step in bettering all our children’s educational experience.

Volunteer

The DMSEF is looking for parent volunteers! If you would like to help in directly affecting the quality of your child’s education today, please contact us.

Ways to Volunteer:

1) Join the Board of Directors

The Board is comprised of two parent volunteers per school. Currently, the following schools are in need of Board members:

      Sage Canyon (2)
      Del Mar Hills (1)
      Ashley Falls (2)

2) Become a Grade Level Ambassador

Each of the eight schools also have Foundation Grade Level Ambassadors. These parent volunteers help with the following:

  • Communicate to grade level room parents about DMSEF
  • Advise Board Members of grade level ESC events to speak at (e.g. grade level play). Would be great if Ambassador would speak as well.
  • Help with fund raising events.

Please contact the DMSEF office at [email protected] or 858-523-6007.

We thank you in advance for taking a proactive step in bettering all our children’s educational experience.
